Show your patriotism and fly the American Flag.

One of the simplest ways to point out your patriotism is to fly American Flags. Most patriots, like those men you see wearing custom military rings, set up a residential flagpole. After all in the event you fly the flag day and night time it needs to be illuminated. The height will vary relying homeowners associations and your preference. The vast majority of the residential flagpoles are aluminum and are 15 to 20 foot tall. However, it’s not extraordinary seeing a fifty foot flagpole at a retired Navy home.  A 20 foot flagpole can fly up to a 4X6 US Flag plus another flag beneath it, (possibly the P.O.W. Flag or a state flag). There is no such thing as a law on windload capacities for residential flagpoles. Most will hold up very good in excessive winds, however you need to be sure to take the flag down. Aluminum flagpoles are comparatively sturdy but light. These kinds of flagpoles are produced using superior manufacturing processes. Aluminum flagpoles are pretty much maintenance free. Aluminum flagpoles are available in several totally different finishes. Common finishes for aluminum flagpoles are satin finish and anodized finish. Each finishes gives flag poles with a protecting coating that protects towards rust and weathering. The anodized finish is usually available in black, clear, darkish bronze, light bronze and medium bronze. The most recent developments in flagpoles are fiberglass. Fiberglass flagpoles can have a windload of up to one hundred eighty miles and hour… which a category 5 hurricane.  One other nice advantage to fiberglass flagpoles is that all these flagpoles don’t corrode or rust. Also, the fiberglass materials is a “non-conducting” material, which implies that fiberglass flagpoles don’t require grounding.  As you probably are conscious, aluminum flagpoles are large lightning rods. You’ll never have lightning issues with a fiberglass pole. This all means the installation of a fiberglass flagpole is quite simple. Fiberglass poles below 25’ might be put in with out bucket truck or ladder truck which can save you on installation costs.
If you want to show your patriotism, put up a aluminum or fiberglass flagpole and fly your flag with pride.

Thank You, Soldiers

How do you tell a loved one who serves in the military how much they mean to you?  How can you possibly thank them for the selfless sacrifices they make for you and for their country.  The truth is that no one really can.  What our brave men and women soldiers go through is enough to make anyone proud.  They spend months and years of their lives in vigorous training to be the best at what they do.  The United States military is a force to be reckoned with.  In a world of terror and violence, there are unsung heroes every day in the military who do not get the credit they deserve.  There are threats to our country that are squashed because of our brave men and women.  Those serving in the Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard & Navy are out there risking it all so that we can have the precious gift of freedom. us_casket

When you stop and think about it, it truly is amazing.  The sad part is that there are many in this great country who take for granted the freedoms that are given to them because of our military.  There are those who have the right to speak or protest because of what the military does for our freedom.  It’s a very thankless job.  And a good soldier knows it.  He is not looking for glory or accolades.  He serves because it is his duty.

Well, I just want to say thank you.  Thank you to all the brave men and women who fight for this country and lay down their lives for our protection.  Thank you to those who go where civilians would not dare.  Thank for being brave and thank you for being strong.

There are many ways to try to say thank you to your soldier.  You can tell them thank you.  You can write them cards, give them a hug, or send them an instant message or email.  You can buy them gifts.  Sure, there are all kinds of military gifts out there.  We personally think our military rings make great gifts, because they are a constant reminder of a way for you to say thank you to your soldier.  But probably the best thank you that you can give a soldier is to enjoy your freedom.  Live out life to the most, and don’t take for granted the sacrifices our brave men and women have made.
