Many thanks to all our men and women in uniform today and yesterday. The military serves to teach people that life goes far beyond oneself. When one serves one learns about honor, duty, respect, commitment. All character traits that serve a person well in the military life and beyond. As we celebrate today, all those that serve, we are thankful that the military continues to be an avenue of learning life traits that will serve the veteran as well. Check out militarymilestones.com for a custom ring that will help you remember the milestones of your military career.

Want To Join The Army?
My brother in law is a soldier in the army at Fort Hood. It’s been interesting to hear his stories about boot camp and his introduction to the military life. This video below gives a short insight as well into what your first week in the Army would look like. I loved the interviews with the drill sergeants who said, “yes, we are all over you watching your every step at first, but eventually, you will realize that it is for your own benefit.”
The transition from civilian life to military life is a steep step, and there has to be some excellent policies in place to turn boys and girls to soldiers. I have always respected the military’s ability to do this. To take hundreds of individuals, all seeking their own purpose and turn them into one unit with one purpose. This is a feat not to be overlooked. It takes discipline and excellent trainers to create a unit of this nature.
We may post some more videos up in the future for those interested in a military life. If you have loved ones in the military already, or perhaps you are in the military or retired, feel free to check out our custom military rings. They make excellent gifts and come in each of the military branches of service.
On the Fourth of July we say Thanks.
It is difficult being far from home. Most of us like to travel but when the travel is over it is always special to be heading home. Being away from “home” for extended periods of time is an additional hardship. We all love our homes and all the joys that family life brings to each of us. Those familiar places and customs we take for granted when we are home. The special place we like to shop or that favorite restaurant we enjoy going to eat. When we are away from those simple pleasures it is a difficult thing. As we come to this great holiday -the 4th of July. Let us remember those men and women who are serving our country far away from “home”. Lets appreciate them and think of ways to support them and encourage them while they are in harms way. They are the reason we have this great holiday to celebrate. Their service has given this great country and those of us who live in it wonderful freedoms and enjoyment which they are “Away” from. We want to say thanks to the men and women who give of themselves to make home a special and important place for us all.
The Army Military Ring
The United States ARmy is responsible for land-based military operations. The Army has its roots in the Continental Army. The Army was actually establish by the Congress on 14 June 1784. It was formed to replace the Continental Army.
The US Army is made up of 3 components: the Regular Army, the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard. Each of these components love the insignia of the US Army and value the Army military ring to mark the milestones of their careers.
The military experience at war
The military life during times of war can be very challenging. Long, long days of focus and fear. Do we even have an idea of what our soldiers feel as they spend month defending our nation in times of war. It would do us all good to reflect on the sacrifice these men and women are willing to endure.
Why are good people willing to put forth this enormous effort for their country? Why, after being wounded do many want to get back to their units and fellow military friends? Because it is a brotherhood and sisterhood that motives these honorable people. That is why the military ring is so very meaningful. It bonds these military folks with their military family. The units and groups that they serve with. It is a bonding of life and experiences that never has its equal. The military jewelry brings back those bonding experiences and times. Whether, army, air force, navy, marines or coast guard-the milestones are worth remembering.
The gift for the military person
Rings-What a great gift for that family member who is in the military. Whether Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy or Coast Guard. A ring of the milestone of their service is a great gift that will encourage that miliatry person both now and for years to come.
Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard Rings
Military rings are an important part of the military experience. They remind the military person of the events and people that are so important to this life. Then later when out of the service they remind one of the milestones that were so important to this life.
The army ring
The army ring has great meaning for many of us who spent some years in the army life. Probably more meaningful for the troops themselves. So much to remind one of friends, places, events. What a great thing to have!
